The story behind this system
I want to tell you something I do not often lead with
My own list did not convert for a long time.
I had the credentials. I had the training. I had the genuine desire to help people. I was writing emails, showing up, giving value. And my calendar stayed empty.
The moment things shifted was not dramatic. I sat down one afternoon and read back through my own emails, and I realised something uncomfortable: I was not even engaged by them. They were fine. They were helpful. They were completely forgettable. I had been writing emails that delivered information. I had not been writing emails that created connection.
I went back to what I knew from my counselling training, the way a real relationship forms and trust is built in the early stages of any significant connection, and I applied it to email. I built a welcome sequence designed to imprint, to make a new subscriber feel, from the very first email, that she had found someone who genuinely understood her.
The replies started coming. Not just polite replies. Replies from people who said things like, "I feel like you've been reading my journal." My calendar started filling, and the clients who came in were aligned, motivated, and ready to do the work. Other practitioners started asking me how I had done it. I taught it to a small group, then a larger one. More than a hundred of my clients have now used this system, and that is what I want to share with you.
